The National Champion of RV Techs®

A credential earned twice on the national stage. A training system built to make sure every technician who works on your RV is held to the same standard.

2× National Champion RVTI Co-Contributor Honorary Level 5 — Only in the Industry Licensed Training System

Won Twice. Built Into Everything We Do.

Brandon Galbreath competed and won the top technician recognition in the RV industry not once but twice — first as RVIA Top Tech, then as RVTI Top Tech after the industry’s certification body was formalized. These are not participation awards. They represent diagnostic accuracy, technical depth, and the kind of systems knowledge that takes years to develop.

Those wins put Brandon at the table when the RV Technical Institute was launched in 2020. He contributed to the standards used for testing, the curriculum structure, and the development of the certification levels that RVTI now uses industry-wide. The system that certifies RV technicians across the country carries his fingerprints.

RVTI has four certification levels. Brandon holds Level 4. He also holds an honorary Level 5 designation — a recognition that exists for one person in the entire industry.

First Win

RVIA Top Tech

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s highest technician recognition. Awarded based on national competition across all certified RV technicians.

Second Win

RVTI Top Tech

The RV Technical Institute’s top technician award, earned after Brandon contributed to the very standards the competition is measured against.

Unique Designation

Honorary Level 5 — RVTI

RVTI certification runs from Level 1 through Level 4. Brandon holds an honorary Level 5 — the only technician in the industry to hold this designation.

“The credential is the credential. What matters to us is what it produces — technicians who understand RV systems completely before they’re trusted to work on yours.”
— Brandon Galbreath, D&N RV Service

The National Champion of RV Techs® System

The National Champion of RV Techs® is a licensed training system exclusively held by D&N RV Service. It is the standard every technician at this shop is trained against — not just when they’re hired, but throughout their entire time here.

1

RVTI Certification First

Every technician at D&N RV Service achieves RVTI certification. This is the industry’s only approved certification program, covering electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and structural repair. It is the baseline, not the finish line.

2

Ongoing Classroom Instruction

Certification does not end the education. D&N technicians continue through a structured curriculum — classroom-based instruction developed specifically to expand their understanding of how RV systems interact, fail, and are correctly repaired.

3

Hands-On Application

Classroom knowledge is reinforced through direct hands-on work under the same curriculum. RV systems are complex and interconnected. The only way to develop real diagnostic capability is to apply it — repeatedly, on real equipment, under a defined standard.

4

A Standard That Doesn’t Change

The National Champion of RV Techs® system is not informal mentorship. It is a defined curriculum with a specific outcome: technicians who can diagnose accurately, repair correctly, and understand why — on any RV system they are assigned.

Why the Standard Matters

RV repair has no universal quality floor. Any shop can call itself a repair shop. The difference between a shop that guesses and a shop that diagnoses comes down to the training standard the technicians are held to — and whether that standard is enforced every day or just mentioned in marketing.

At D&N RV Service, every technician who touches your RV has achieved RVTI certification and continues their education through a curriculum that was built by the person who helped write the rules the industry certifies against.

That is not a common thing. It is the reason customers drive from Huntsville, Decatur, Athens, and beyond rather than using the shop closest to them.
